At the time of your study in New Zealand, you can do a part-time job to full-fill your needs. Full-time students are permitted to work up to 20 hours a week but must seek a variation in the conditions of their VISA. You can earn nearly (NZD)$13 per hour. After your study complete, with Post Study Work VISA you will be able to stay in New Zealand for 12 months and find a job that relevant to your studies. If you find a job relevant to your studies, you may then apply for a further two year Post Study Work VISA (Employer Assisted).

Your tertiary institution may offer you assistance to find work, such as helping you with your job search or giving you tips on writing a CV. You could also try talking to your teacher, lectures and friends to find jobs that have not yet been advertised. Otherwise register with a recruitment agency, contacting potential employers directly.
