What is PTE?
The PTE is an abbreviation of the Pearson Test of English. It is a computer based test of English for study abroad and immigration. Approved by the Australian Government for VISA applications and accepted by thousands of institutions in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland. It is designed to access and accredit the English language skills of candidates who want to study in an English speaking country.
There are two types of PTE such as PTE Academic and PTE General. In PTE General four sections are there are there and is used for study abroad, where PTE General is used for job purpose. The duration of this exam is nearly 3 hours and cost approximately (INR)₹10,255 to (INR)₹12,819 plus 18% GST.
