Founded in 1869, SIU is the flagship campus of the Southern Illinois Universitysystem. The university enrolls students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries and offers 192 undergraduate, 80 master’s and 32 doctoral programs in addition to professional degrees in law and medicine.
